How To Email Your Leads Their Results

In this article, we will be walking you through how you can email your leads their results.

To be able to achieve this follow the steps below: 

Part 1: Create Tags in your auto-responder platform for the different results you have in your quiz/survey.

Part 2: Create a Text Custom Field in your auto-responder platform for your quiz result. 

Part 3: Set the Trigger for your autoresponder emails results to go out based on the tags created above.

Part 4: Integrate your LeadQuizzes quiz/survey to your auto-responder platform with our native integrations.

Part 1: How to create Tags in your auto-responder platform for the different results you have in your quiz/survey.

To create tags in your MailChimp email marketing software follow these steps.

1. Log in to your MailChimp account and click the ''Audience'' drop-down.

2. Click ''Tags'' on the drop-down and click ''Create Tag''.

3. Type the name of your tag, and click ''Create''.

4. All set! You’ll see your new tag listed on the Tags page. You can repeat the process to create Tags for the remaining results you have on your quiz.

Part 2: How to create a Text Custom Field in your auto-responder platform for your quiz result.

To add a field in the MailChimp form builder, follow these steps.

1. Log in to your MailChimp account and click ''Audience''.

2. Click ''Signup forms'' from the drop-down and click ''select'' on the Form builder.

3. Under the ''Build it'' tab, choose the ''Text'' field type from the ''add a field menu''

4. The new field's name, tag, and other characteristics can be customized under the ''field settings'' menu. Click ''Save Field'' to add the field to the form.

Part 3: How to create your quiz/survey results as autoresponder emails and set them to trigger based on the tags created above.

To send an automated email from MailChimp to your tagged contacts, follow these steps.

1. Log in to your MailChimp account and click ''Audience''.

2. Click ''Customer Journeys'' from the drop-down and select ''Create Journey'' on the top-right corner.

3. Add a name for your ''Customer Journey'' and click ''Start Building''.

4. Next click on ''Choose A Starting Point''.

5. Select ''Tag added'' in the popup.

6. Next, select the tag you want to use as a trigger for this customer journey and click  ''Save Starting Point''.

7. Next, add the ''Send email'' action step to your customer journey and create your email.  

8. Lastly, lunch your customer journey, and repeat the same for the remaining results. 

Here are step-by-step guides on how you can trigger your autoresponder emails results for other platforms based on the tags created above.

Part 4: How to integrate your LeadQuizzes quiz/survey to your auto-responder platform.

1. Navigate to your LeadQuizzes account dashboard, click "Settings" in the top right-hand corner & select "Integrations" from the Settings menu.

2. On the Integrations page, find your email marketing platform integration, click "Setup" and add the credentials associated with the email marketing account you would like to connect to your LeadQuizzes account.

Note: You can find information on how you can do this for the different integrations we have natively here.

3. On your account integration page, your Integration should now say "Connected". You can edit your integration at any time by clicking the pencil icon on your integration or disconnect your Integration at any time by clicking the disconnect icon.

4. To begin passing data from your quiz over to your email marketing platform, you first have to select the content you would like to configure your email marketing platform for & click the "Edit" icon on it.

5. Once you are in the Content Builder, click "Configure" on the top menu. Click "Native Integrations" on the left side and then click "Add Integrations" button on the Native Integrations page.

6. On the Configure Integration popup window, select your integration from the "Select Integration" drop-down menu. Only the integrations set-up on the Integrations page on that account will appear on the drop-down menu.

7. Next, select a list from the "Select list" drop-down menu. Only the lists that are set up in your email marketing platform account will appear on the drop-down menu.

8. All your Fields & Tags will be loaded onto the Configure Integration popup window. They will be separated by two tabs.

  • The Fields tab contains both the default fields and the fields you added to your list to store specific data in your email marketing platform account. 
  • The Tags tab allows you to assign a specific tag to response data collected from your LeadQuizzes quiz or survey.

9. Next, map your quiz data to the fields. To do this, click the "Map Data" icon next to the field you would like to assign the data to and select the LeadQuizzes content element from the drop-down list.

Note: Map the Result Field in your quiz to the Custom Field you created in your auto-responder platform.

10. Next, apply the tags you created to the different results. To do this, click on the ''Tags'' tab, scroll down to the results section and map the tags.

11. Finally, click the "Save" button to complete configuring your Integration.
