Automatically push your leads and data from LeadQuizzes into your Mailchimp account. This guide covers how to set up the connection, map your fields, and use tags to segment your audience.
Step 1: Connect Mailchimp to Your Content
Open your quiz in the Content Builder and navigate to the Configure tab.
Select Native Integrations from the sidebar and click Add Integration.
Choose Mailchimp and select your preferred Mailchimp list.
Step 2: Map Your Fields
To ensure your data syncs correctly, you must map your LeadQuizzes form fields to your Mailchimp audience fields:
Required Fields: Map your Email, First Name, and Last Name fields.
Optional Data: You can also map phone numbers and other custom data collected in your form.
Step 3: Segmenting with Tags
You can automatically apply tags to leads based on the specific Results they receive.
In the integration settings, find the Results Mapping section.
Assign a specific Mailchimp Tag (e.g., "Tag 11" or "New Lead") to each result. When a lead finishes the quiz, this tag is instantly applied in Mailchimp.
Step 4: Updating Existing Contacts
LeadQuizzes uses the Email Address as a unique identifier. If an existing contact takes your quiz again:
Their information (like Phone Number or Name) will be automatically updated in Mailchimp.
Any new tags will be appended to their profile, allowing you to track their behavior over time.
Pro Tip: Always remember to Publish your changes after setting up an integration to make the connection live!
