Understanding Response Overages & Billing

To explain how LeadQuizzes calculates quiz responses, when overage charges apply, and how to manage your account limits to ensure uninterrupted lead generation.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. A response is recorded the moment a visitor starts interacting with your quiz—such as answering a question or submitting a lead form.

  2. To avoid using up your monthly quota, always perform your testing in the Design Tab. Any interaction on a Live/Published link will count toward your monthly usage.

  3. You will receive automated email notifications when you reach 80%, 90%, and 100% of your plan's response limit.

  4. If you exceed your limit, your quizzes will stay live! An overage charge is applied automatically based on your plan:

    • Startup Plan: $10 for 100 additional responses.

    • Standard Plan: $15 for 250 additional responses.

    • Pro Plan: $20 for 500 additional responses.

  5. Your response counter resets every month on your original billing date (e.g., if you were billed on June 9th, it resets on July 9th).

  6. Ensure your payment details are current. If an overage charge fails, your account will be paused until the details are updated.

Note:

  • We never take your quizzes offline for hitting a limit; we apply an overage so your leads keep flowing.

  • Unused responses do not roll over to the next billing cycle.

  • Always use the preview mode in the "Design" tab for internal QA to save your responses for real customers.
