Hidden fields allow you to attach metadata—like a Source or Campaign ID—to a lead profile without the user ever seeing the field. This is the gold standard for calculating ROI because it tells you exactly which ad or influencer is making you money.

How to Set Up Hidden Fields

  • In the builder, navigate to Form Fields and drag the Hidden Field element into your lead capture form.

  • Give the field a property name (e.g., source or utm_campaign).

  • Click save to finalize the field within your form.

  • When sharing your quiz, append the source to your URL.

    • Example: yourquiz.com/?source=facebook

    • Example: yourquiz.com/?source=instagram

Note: By using hidden fields, you can use the same quiz across 10 different platforms and still know exactly where every person came from. When you export your leads or check your CRM, you’ll see an extra column filled with the source data, allowing you to see which traffic sources are actually paying you the most.
