The Cover Page is the first impression your audience has of your brand. It’s the "hook" that turns a casual visitor into a lead. According to our data, a well-structured cover page can boost your quiz completion rate by up to 30%.
By clearly communicating the value and the time commitment upfront, you build the trust necessary for users to complete the entire experience.
Locate the Start Screen
Inside the LeadQuizzes builder, look for the Start Screen section on the left-hand sidebar.
Drag and drop the Cover Page element into your workspace.
Write a Compelling Title
Your title should promise a clear benefit or result.
Example: "Discover Your Marketing Strategy in 2 Minutes"
Why it works: It tells the user exactly what they will get and how long it will take.
Add a Brief Description
Expand on your title with a sub-headline.
Expert Tip: Keep your description under 50 words. You want to provide enough context to be interesting, but not so much that it feels like a chore to read.
Customize Your Call-to-Action (CTA)
The button is the gateway to your quiz. Make it energetic!
Instead of a generic "Start," try something like "Let's Go!", "Find Out Now," or "Get My Results."
Add Engaging Media
A quiz without a visual feels incomplete.
Go to the Media tab.
Upload a high-quality image that reflects the theme of your quiz. Visuals significantly increase the perceived value of your quiz.
Note:
Most of your leads will see this on a smartphone. After you save your cover page, use the Preview button to ensure your title and image look great on smaller screens and that the CTA button is easy to tap
Focus on the "WIIFM" (What's In It For Me): Your cover page shouldn't be about your company; it should be about the benefit the user receives from taking the quiz.
Ensure the user knows exactly what the quiz is about within 2 seconds of the page loading.
Typically, one strong cover page is best to reduce friction, but you can always use A/B testing to see which headline performs better!
