If you want to promote your quiz without interrupting your visitor's reading or browsing experience, the Announcement Bar is your best friend. It acts as a constant, subtle invitation to take your quiz, remaining "stuck" to the top or bottom of the browser as the user scrolls.
Non-Intrusive: It doesn't block the content your visitors came to read.
High Visibility: It stays in the user's line of sight at all times.
Easy Implementation: No complex design required—just text and a button.
Locate the Announcement Bar Settings
From your LeadQuizzes Dashboard, select your Quiz.
Navigate to the Share tab.
Click on Announcement Bar from the list of sharing options.
Design the Appearance
In the Appearance tab, you can customize the look of your bar to match your brand:
CTA Text: Write a short, compelling hook (e.g., "Find your perfect fit - Take the Quiz!").
Color Palette: Choose a background and text color.
Pro Tip: Use a high-contrast color (like a bright button on a dark bar) to draw the eye immediately.
Note:
Keep it Punchy You only have about 2-3 seconds to grab a visitor's attention as they scroll. Keep your announcement bar text under 10 words for maximum impact.
Contrast is Your Friend: If your website background is white, try a dark navy or a brand-accent color for the bar.
Targeting (Who Sees It?)
Control exactly who sees your message:
Devices: Enable for Desktop, Tablet, or Mobile.
Page Logic: Choose "All Pages" for maximum exposure or "Specific Pages" to target users on certain blog posts or product categories.
Traffic Percentage: This unique feature allows you to show the bar to a portion of your audience (e.g., 50%) to test its effectiveness against your standard site layout.
Note:
Test the Mobile View: On mobile devices, screen space is limited. Make sure your text isn't so long that it covers the main navigation menu of your site.
Pair with a Goal: Use the "Traffic Percentage" tool to see if the bar helps or hurts your bounce rate. If it's capturing leads without increasing bounces, it's a winner!
Behavior & Positioning
Decide how the bar acts when clicked:
Launch Action: Set it to open your quiz directly when clicked.
Position: Choose Top (traditional header style) or Bottom (footer style).
Click Action: Decide if clicking the bar opens the quiz in a new tab or as a "push" overlay.
Activate & Launch
Once you have reviewed your settings, hit Save and Continue.
Important: Ensure you toggle the status to Active without this, the bar will not appear on your site.
Note:
The Bar isn't showing up: Ensure your Tracking Code is correctly installed in your website's
<head>section and that the bar is set to Active.Overlap Issues: If the bar is covering your website's header or logo, try switching the position to the Bottom.
