In this article, we will be walking you through how you can trigger a website popup on any element on your website.
**NOTE: Before you can use the website popup feature, you will need to install our embed & tracking code in the < head > tag of every page where you wish to track visitors and collect leads. If you haven't done this yet, you can find a step-by-step guide on how to embed this code on different websites in our help center.**
Once you have installed your embed and tracking code, follow the steps below to trigger a website popup on any element on your website.
1. Log in to your LeadQuizzes account and click the three dots of the quiz you want to configure the Announcement Bar on and select ''Share''.
2. Next, go to the Append Class-to-Element tab to see the setting options. Also, ensure that your Tracking code status is green, which indicates that your tracking code is installed on your website. In case you haven't installed your tracking code in the past, your Tracking code status would be red and you will be prompted to set this up.
3. Next, copy your website popup CLASS code by clicking the Copy To Clipboard icon.
4. Lastly, add this code to your HTML element to be able to trigger a website popup upon clicking that HTML element. To do this, copy the ''Class code'' and add it to the HTML element class attribute. If you already have some classes in that attribute, add a blank space and then paste our Class code.
NOTE: The popup will ONLY work if your quiz is published. If you unpublish your quiz - the popup will not trigger even if you have that class in your html element.
