How To Email Your Leads Their Results Using Zapier

In this article, we will be walking you through how you can email your leads their results using Zapier.

To be able to achieve this follow the steps below: 

Part 1: Create Tags in your auto-responder platform for the different results you have in your quiz/survey.

Part 2: Create a Text Custom Field in your auto-responder platform for your quiz result. 

Part 3: Integrate your LeadQuizzes quiz/survey to your auto-responder platform using Zapier and map the field, including the result. 

Part 4: Set up an automation where a specific tag is applied if a specific result depending on the text in that Result custom field.

Part 5: Set the trigger for your autoresponder emails results to go out based on the tags created above.

Part 1: How to create Tags in your auto-responder platform for the different results you have in your quiz/survey.

To create tags in your Convertkit software follow these steps.

1. Log in to your Convertkit account click the ''Grow'' drop-down, and select ''Subscribers''.

2. On the page that opens, Click ''Tags'' on the right-hand side.

3. Type the name of your tag, and click ''Save''.

4. All set! You’ll see your new tag listed under the Tags section. You can repeat the process to create Tags for the remaining results you have on your quiz.

Part 2: How to create a Text Custom Field in your auto-responder platform for your quiz result.

• Convertkit

To add a custom field in the Convertkit form builder, follow these steps.

1. Log in to your Convertkit account click the ''Grow'' drop-down, and select ''Subscribers''.

2. Click on any subscriber from your list on the subscribers' page to access their subscriber profile.

3. Under the subscriber’s first name field, click "+ Add a new field"

4. Next, enter your new custom field’s name & value and click ''Update Subscriber''.

Part 3: How to integrate your quiz/survey to your auto-responder platform using Zapier

To Integrate LeadQuizzes and pass your lead data as well as response data to Convertkit using Zapier, login to your Zapier account and click on Make a New Zap.

1. Under ‘'connect this app'’ select LeadQuizzes 3 and under ‘with this one’ select ''ConvertKit''. 

2. For the trigger event steps, under ‘'When this happens'’ select ''New Responses'' and under ‘then do this’ select ''Add Subscriber to Form'' and click on ''Try it''.

3. In the Zapier configuration window that comes up, under the ''Choose Account'' step, choose the LeadQuizzes 3 account you want to connect to and click on Continue. 

Note: If you have no LeadQuizzes 3 accounts connected to your Zapier yet, you will be prompted to connect one using the API key found in your LeadQuizzes account.

4. Next, under the ''Set up trigger'' step, from the Content drop-down, choose the content in your LeadQuizzes 3 account that you want to pass lead data from and click on Continue. 

Note: All the content you have published in your LeadQuizzes 3 account will be pulled into the drop-down.

5. Next, click on ''Test Trigger'' to see the result of your test data. Crosscheck to make sure that all the information you intend to pass into your ConvertKit fields is contained in the test data and click Continue.

6. In the ConvertKit configuration stage under ''Choose Account'', select the ConvertKit account you want to connect to and click on Continue. 

Note: If you have no ConvertKit account connected yet, you will be prompted to connect one.

7. Next, choose the Form you will like to pass your response data to. Map the lead data (Contact email, Name,  Result, etc) you would like to be included, and click on Continue.

8. Next, crosscheck to confirm that the fields you mapped are correct and click ''Test & Continue''.

9. If your test was successfully sent, you will see a successfully sent notification. Lastly, click ''Turn on Zap''.

Part 4: How to set up an automation where a specific tag is applied to a specific result depending on the text that appears in the result custom field.

1. Go to ''Visual Automations'' and click ''New Automation''.

2. Label your automation and select ''Joins a form''.

3. Select your Form from the drop-down and click ''Add Event''.

4. Click on the add symbol, choose ''Event'' and click on ''Custom Field''. 

5. Next, select the ''Results'' custom field you created from the drop-down, and add one of your Result Titles. 

Note: Add one of the results titles Exactly as it is shown in your LeadQuizzes quiz/survey. 

6. Next, click on the add symbol, choose ''Action'' and click on ''Add or remove tag''. 

7. Next, choose the tag that you want to assign to this specific result.

8. Finally, set the automation to ''Live''. You can repeat the process to assign Tags for the remaining results you have on your quiz.
